Rates are:

• quoted, invoiced and payable in ZAR
• quoted per adult sharing per night and half price for children (please refer to our child policy below)
• subject to a R600 supplement for rooms/suites occupied by one adult (not applicable when sharing with a child)
• inclusive of all meals, high tea, game drives, fly fishing for yellow fish, mountain biking, nature walks and tracking, selected beverages (not premium brands), return transfers between welcome lounge and lodge, tourism levy and 14% Vat
• subject to change without prior notice
• A minimum stay of 3 nights are required from 20 December to 10 January and over Easter Weekend

Children Policy

• This policy applies to all persons from 6 up to and including 9 years old
• Persons from 10 years and older are considered as adults and will therefore require their own tent at the applicable rates
• Persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted on any walking safaris
• 6 – 9 Year old
  • are accommodated at 50% (half) of the adult sharing rate
  • are accommodated in their own tent
  • are permitted on game drives
• Child rates are inclusive of:
  • frogging
  • tracking
  • bicycle (adult size) rides within non predator area
  • meals
  • non alcoholic beverages
• Child minding service is available on request and can be arranged at an additional cost

Travel Information

Insurance

• We highly recommend that travel insurance is taken out

Transfers / Gate Times

• Transfers can be arranged with reservations on request at an additional cost
• All transfers are handled by accredited car hire and charter companies
• All transfers must be arranged prior to arrival
• The road from the gate to the lodge is not accessible by normal or 4x4 vehicles and therefore guests are transferred from the welcoming lounge (situated at the gate) to the lodge
  • arriving guests will be picked up from the welcoming lounge at 13h00
  • departing guests will depart the lodge at 11h00 to arrive back at the welcoming lounge at 11h20
  • transfers at alternative times can be requested at an additional fee and must be booked prior to arrival

Payment

• 25% Deposit will be required within 14 days of reservation being made
• Balance will be required 30 days prior to arrival
• Full pre payment will be required at time of booking for reservations made within 30 days of arrival

Cancellations

Peak Season (20 December – 10 January)

• Only written cancellations will be accepted; please ensure you receive an acknowledgment of cancellation from reservations
• 50% of fee if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 30 days prior to arrival

General

• Only written cancellations will be accepted; please ensure you receive an acknowledgment of cancellation from reservations
• 25% of fee if cancellation is less than 30 days prior to arrival
• 50% of fee if cancellation is less than 15 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 7 days prior to arrival

Group Deposit, Payment and Cancellation

• Policy applies to bookings of eight (8) or more people
• A minimum of a 2 night stay applies throughout the year
• A 10% non-refundable deposit may be requested at the time of booking in order to secure rooms, depending on the size of the group
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable 90 days prior to arrival
• A 100% non-refundable payment 60 days prior to arrival
