• Rates are:
  • applicable to new bookings only
  • quoted, invoiced and payable in ZAR
  • quoted per adult per night
  • inclusive of all meals, two games drives, fly fishing for yellow fish, mountain biking, nature walks and tracking, selected beverages (not premium brands), return transfers between welcome lounge and lodge, tourism levy and 14% Vat
  • subject to change without prior notice

• We recommend a minimum stay of two nights throughout the year

Children Policy

• This policy applies to all persons from 6 up to and including 11 years old
• Persons from 12 years and older are considered as adults and will therefore require their own room/tent at the applicable rates
• Persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted on any walking safaris
• 6 – 11 Year old
  • are accommodated at 50% (half) of the adult sharing rate
  • are accommodated in their own tent
  • are permitted on game drives
• Child rates are inclusive of:
  • frogging
  • tracking
  • bicycle (adult size) rides within non predator area
  • meals
  • non alcoholic beverages
• Child minding services are available and done by lodge staff at an additional cost, by prior arrangement only

Travel Information

Insurance

• We highly recommend that travel insurance is taken out

Transfers / Gate Times

• Transfers can be arranged with reservations on request at additional costs
• All transfers are handled by accredited car hire and charter companies
• All transfers must be arranged prior to arrival
• The road from the gate to the lodge is not accessible by normal or 4x4 vehicles and therefore guests are transferred from the welcoming lounge (situated at the gate) to the lodge

• arriving guests will be picked up from the welcoming lounge at 13h00
• departing guests will depart the lodge at 11h00 to arrive back at the welcoming lounge at 11h20
• transfers at alternative times can be requested at an additional fee and must be booked prior to arrival

Payment

• 25% Deposit will be required within 14 days of reservation being made
• Balance will be required 30 days prior to arrival
• Full pre payment will be required at the time of booking for reservations made within 30 days of arrival

Cancellations

Peak Season (20 December – 10 January)

• Only written cancellations will be accepted. Ensure to receive an acknowledgment of cancellations from reservations
• 50% of fee if cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival

General

• Only written cancellations will be accepted. Ensure to receive an acknowledgment of cancellations from reservations
• 25% of fee if cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival
• 50% of fee if cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival

Group/Conference: Deposit, Payment and Cancellation

 Policy applies to bookings of eight (8) or more people

· A minimum of a 2 night stay applies through out the year

• A 10% non-refundable deposit may be requested at the time of booking in order to secure rooms, depending on the size of the group
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable 90 days prior to arrival
• A 100% non-refundable payment 60 days prior to arrival
• Every 16^th person confirmed will be free of charge, inclusive of all meals, game drives and selected beverages
